First silver of the year !

[Ed (Upstate NY)]

Was nice to finally see the glimmer of a silver coin for the first time this year. Got this '48-D Washington quarter yesterday from a pounded city park. Was surrounded by pull tabs, bottle caps and other trash. Felt good to get a silver quarter early this year. Took me until December last year to find one. Only dug one old nickel this weekend, a crusty Buffalo....
