Thanks to Andy J for inviting me to one of his permissions out in Schoharie County this morning. One last hunt before the heat wave moves in ! Promising looking site but only gave up a nice 1927 Standing Liberty quarter, 2 wheaties, some clad, a silver plated spoon and a couple of glass marble surface finds. Was nice to get on the scoreboard with first silver coin of the year !

The first silver this year and a very good one! :occasion14:

Beautiful save. Congrats

That's a nice way to kick it off ! SLQ's are a tough find ( with a date - even tougher)

Way to go. Nice silver:thumbsup:

Nice SLQ Ed and a clear date to congrats...

Real pretty SLQ,
We have a Marbles forum here on Tnet where you can get those marbles I.D.ed
Congrats on your finds.

Congrats on your first silver of the year. The Standing Liberty is a beautiful coin, and yours is in great shape with a full readable date.

A most excellent first silver FTY. I love finding SLQ, but mine all seem to have their dates missing.

Sweet SLQ Ed! There's a good chance my best half and I go up you're way later this year- I'll let you know- maybe you, Tony & I can hook up.

Fantastic find! Standing Liberty is one of the nicest coins ever made.

Definitely let me know if you're going to be in the area. I still want to get back for another shot at Seated Park !
