First silver quarter found CRHing in 2 years

On Saturday (3/13), got dimes and one roll of quarters at a bank - all CWR.

Opened the roll of quarters and saw this




thought it was either from the Bahamas, Ecuador, or Dominican Republic (I can tell it wasn't Canadian). To my surprise it was a 1963-D quarter. Dimes were all a skunk.

CJ: I'll bet it will be about another year before you find the next one. Congrats on a rare find now a days. Quarters are a tough coin to find only because they are so obvious in looks, sound, & feel.

Given that they are so tough, I'd rather find a silver quarter than 3 silver dimes, even though the 3 dimes have more silver.
