Hey everyone,

I'm in Island County with some family and friends this weekend. Took the CTX and broke out the 17 inch coil for the first time. Took it to an old ballfield my brother and I have detected to death in the past and done well at. I wasn't disappointed!

Quarter was about 6 inches deep and in the hole with a nail so it wasn't a clean signal. My brother and I easily walked over that spot at least 10 times with our DFXs.

Managed a 57D quarter and 3 40s-50s wheats in a couple hours in the high-30s, pouring rain. Hopefully I'll be back out there tomorrow!

Good luck all!

Edit: this also brings me and my brother to 36 total silver coins this year which was our goal for all of 2018. Guess it's time to bump that goal up!

Nice finds W. Thanks for sharing...

Well done on sniffing out the silver, and getting to your goal and it's only March!

Great job sniffing out the silver! Living in the Seattle area if you don’t hunt when it rains you don’t get to hunt LOL

Nice job on the silver.

good job my friend

Congrats on the sweet silver quarter!
