first silver quarter

Not the most exciting post but...

An exciting milestone for me. Hit my first silver quarter today!

Went to a private local residence today with a good friend and had a fun afternoon detecting the property. Dug a lot of wheaties and a TON of clad. Got lucky and pulled out this 1941 silver quarter to mark my first. Not 10 minutes earlier I told my friend Ryan that I was hoping to score a (silver) quarter today; and well I did.

Thanks for looking. Next time I post it will be something more exciting.

This was NOT my first silver coin.

It was my first silver quarter!

Congrats on finding your 1st silver quarter. My 1st silver quarter (which was also my first silver coin) was a 1950 Philadelphia quarter. I know what a thrill it must have been. Now go find some more.
