Today i went out with my wife and we had a blast. We our using a fisher f2 with the dd coil. Recently in town they dug out old playset at the park down the steet and they are installing a new one. This park dates back to the 1800's. the holes they dug are deepest 8 ft and lots if sand piles. We had a blast this morning

Todays total

22 quarters
23 dime (1964 First silver dime and has a js mint mark)
6 nickels
89 pennies

Lots of old clad but only 1 silver

Then found a big spoon it had 1835 R Wallace triple sectional pat dec 29 06 so looks to be from 1906 silver spoon

The. Found a nice ring and it cleaned up well and is stamped 925 RJ in the inside?? Dont know what the rj means

Found a chain with some ring on it and a gold skull think with 18k stamped on the back.

Then found a 2 crosses and a clover on a necklace and then a few charms

Nice finds and supporting pictures issombeituni.

Nice finds! That ring has a really nice stone!. about your silver, the mint mark would be on the back, JS are the initials of the coin's designer, John Sinnock.
