First silver with "Super 12" coil from Whites
Ron C and I got out to detect a while after work today. Went to an old school that used to produce a little silver way back when. Last year the whole field got tilled up, and replanted with grass. Figured that there might be some more coins, and i was right. I was trying out my new "Super " 12 coil from White's in Mixed Mode and got a 1938 Merc and 1952 penny. Not bad for the first time out with this thing. Nice and light. Covers like a 1400, but I could go all day with this one. Easy to pinpoint, also.
