First starter detector

New to detecting. Looking for a good starter. Local store has a Bounty Hunter Quick silver for 77.99...any good Or should I look at other name brands.

for a couple $ more u can go with the discovery 3300 from radio shack it is a BH it is the same detector kellyco sells for 300 call the titain3000 3300 run right now for 111.00 it has pinpointing and it will be a better starter detector i believe in my opinon

Where again can I get the Dicovery 3300 for $111.00? Radio Shack says 299.00.

Try different Radio Shacks some of them are going out of bussiness and you might even get a better deal.

I bought mine new in the box on Ebay. So far very happy with the price and results.

Bounty hunter tracker IV is a good starting detector. But i havnt figured out what the numbers are for on the control consol.

I was given a Quick Silver for Christmas last year. The only good thing I noticed about this detector is that it's made me want to get into this hobby more. When the time is right ($$$) I'll be upgrading.
