no silver but i did find a princess pat compact from 1929. and a key.
i had the park ranger come up to me while i was in the middle of pulling out on of the nickels, he just kindly asked me to be sure and fill in my "divots" i told him i always do. You know the normal park staff interactions. then he told me that another person was hunting in the same area i was standing and found a mercury dime.
