First time beach detecting: X-Terra 705 capability questions

I purchased an X-Terra 705 metal detector about a year ago, and I was recently invited to go metal detecting at Coin Beach in Delaware, the location where the Faithful Steward ran aground carrying barrels of period coins, back in 1785.

I have a couple of questions regarding my X-Terra 705 for this trip.

1) Is the 705 designed/made for beach metal detecting?

2) If so, what coil(s) would be best for it? (I am not planning to be doing any underwater detecting).

3) How do I set/configure/program the control box to properly detect for beach use?

I expect to be detecting in both dry and wet sand conditions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
