The weather was great and I had a little time to kill so I grabbed the Garrett and went to a new field that I got permission to hunt. The corn had been harvested and the stalks were mowed so it was nice for swinging. I had researched that two early 1900s old houses once stood in this large field. I searched for the first old home site for about an hour and never could pin the location down. I moved on to the next site and almost immediately found broken brick and pottery. I found: a 1919 wheat cent, an ornamental type drawer pull, a 1950s rabies tag, a Virginia Electric Power Co. fare token, several shotgun brass and cartridge brass/lead, and a few other bits. It was a good time and maybe I can get motivated to get back out there and find that other house site soon. Thanks for looking ~ Jimmy
