First Time Out

Today was my first time out with a metal detector. Myself and a couple buddies from work went to another coworkers yard at lunchtime. One of the other guys was a noob like me and our third buddy was a beginner. We found a cupful of nails, can tab, an old gear, a copper plumbing tee, bits of scrap and I had the fortune of finding a 1974 dime. Not much by any means but I was excited! Can't wait to get back out again!

Finding money on your first time MD'ing! Nice!

What ever I detected on my first time with a new detector shall for ever remain a mystery. I got the detector while at work, there is no dirt or grass there, just paved parking area. I detected anyhow, had several signals some were good! I have no idea what they are, they still reside under the macadam! Lol! Maybe one day they will rip it out and I can dig it up !
