first time out

overcast 50 degrees on long island after a night of rain grabbed my 10 yr old and 7 yr old girls 10 yr old on crutches(shes a trooper) off to the ball field we go lots of drunks must hang here millions of bottle caps and pull tabs ( tabs ok daughter collects them for school 10 mins in and a solid beep a look at the classic 1d 5 screen its says its a quarter and low and behold 2 inches deep a 2007 quarter shining back at me we all do a happy coin dance and move on 10 feet later my first wheat a 1942 penny in bad shape butt its all mine now
1 hr total find 38 cents in clad (1 q 1d 3 p) 1 wheat 1 very old washer and 4 golf balls( 7 yr old found her own treasures ) 1st time out priceless

Excellent! My first time out a couple of weeks ago I found one dime

doing better lately - I tend to get around $2 from the sandy playgrounds for a couple hours of work.....Still waiting for that ring
