First Time Post Corrected

OK, I'm new at this and it took me a bit but I think I might have it straight now.

Yesterday I decided somewhat late in the day to do a little dirt fishin. I went back to an old cellar hole I had hit pretty hard already. I wasn't having too much luck. It got worse when the mosquitoes started biting. So I started my mantra....Just one good target.....Just one good target. It's worked in the past. I think it worked this time too. I dug this brass "C & Co" buckle. Can't seem to track it down though. Anyone familiar with it?

Thanks for the reply. It's some type of buckle. Somehow managed to get the pic of the back on a different post. Still fumbling my way around here. I will try to modify.
I did a quick search but was unable to find out who issued/made this buckle.

I have been advised that this is not a buckle, but a rosette. Makes sense as I found it near a couple of posts that I believe may have been a gate at one time. Any information on "C&C" still greatly appreciated.
