I have not posted for quite some time. My wife and I bought a new house and there is SOOOOOO MUCH to do, so the metal detecting has to take a back seat for a while.
I have been able to squeak in two short hunts in the last coulpl of days. I have included two pics taken from my deck. All items were found within 100 yards of my house. I have permission to hunt the neighbors 300+ acres
The very nice guy that owns the property said that he can take me to the spot where the original home site was when his family got the land from the original "Kings land grants" Sounds like a promissing spot..........
The finds came from two different 45 min. hunts. Junk not pictured. The spoon and the two Indians, 1863 fatty and 1887, came from the first hunt. The 1817 LC, and the two other relics came from my second hunt last night. I think they are a powder flask and some sort of fancy suspender hardware.
Here are a few pics and thanks in advance for lookin'. As soon as I am done posting I have to go to the old house and take down the horse fence to move it here.
