Life has forced me to put down the MD for the last couple of years, but I am back in the game!

I went out yesterday in my new backyard and found my first V nickle off of my first signal! I was floored. My neighborhood sits on what was once the largest fair in new York state in the mid 1800s - early 1900s.
The coin is 1903, in terrible shape, but it was on my bucket list!

I am looking forward to more finds.

Congrats on that first of many bucket listers, and right on your own property yet! Gotta say, as V-nickels go, I have seen and found far worse- you can clearly see the date and V- I'd be thrilled with that one.

Congrats on Your First V !!!! I'd definitely be doing some serious door knocking in Your neighborhood!!!! Good Luck and look forward to more posts!!

That’s awesome and there sure will be more to find there. Congrats!

Those are hard to find. Sounds like you're right on top of a great spot.

Congrats on your first V Nickel.

Awesome find!

Imagine what's still out there?? Make a pot of coffee and get back to work!!!!!!!! Keep us posted please-

sweet! off to a fantastic start

Excellent find. My first (believe it or not) was in a coin roll of nickels from a bank.
