Well, I've played out the halves in my area for a while. I'm working on a new supply bank as the boxes I've been getting are pretty skunky... I did drop by one of my banks today and they are going to sell me the bag off their machine when it fills up (still about $400 to go). I think I may take some halves there to help it along then buy it.

Anyways, got 43 rolls of nickels today to go thru with my daughter. After today we only need 5 more to finish the set: 1950D, 1955, 1948S, 1953S, and 1952 S.
Today we did get a 1944S War Nic, it was our first ender. All we could see was the S on the back. I said, I hope it's a 1944 because that's the only war nic we lacked... It was! Check out the picture on this one :icon_thumleft:

The other interesting report today was a 1926 Buffalo Nic. We have gotten a hand full of Buffalos over the years, but this is the first one we could read the date on. It was pretty beat up, but we were still happy. My daughter added it to her little collection.

Here is all the keepers we got from the nickels:

1926, 1941, 1942, 1946 D, 1948, 1951, 1952, 1953, 1953D, 1954D X 3, 1955D, 1957 D X 3, 1958 D X 3, 1959 D X2 And the 1944S.

Happy Hunting to all. I'm off on another road trip for work next week. I hope it's half as good as my last one to California!
