At last, diggable ground at house demo site. Found my first wheat(1927), in the same hole with 2 other older Lincolns and the little pink religous charm The large charm has a map of Flordia, with palm trees and birds engraved. A nickle, a 1963 Canadian penny, and a few odds and ends. Now the bummer.......pushed the button on Garrett Pro Pointer, and nothing there, shook it and there is ratteling this cant be good 100_6362.webp100_6361.webp:BangHead:

Wow, great start! Many more moments to come. Congratulations. HH

Congrats on your first of many, and other cool finds.

The Garrett Pro Pointer has a 2 year warranty and they are great about fixing them. Give them a call.

Cool finds. Here's a dumb question but are you sure you have a battery in the pro pointer? I ask because it happened to me on another device once. Didn't work, I shook it and heard rattling. Turned out there was no battery and it was just the loose end of the connector rattling around.

I wish Joe! I was using it the last week or so, today during my hunt, I pushed the button, and it was just no click no nothing under the rubber, it came apart inside the switch

Nice start for sure there :icon_thumright: I am having troubles with finding wheat even lately , but I will get past this soon I hope!

Get Digging!

Nice finds cooper1841! Let us know how Garrett treats ya - I have heard nothing but positive reports.

:icon_thumright: Just got off the phone with Garrett, "It's under warrenty send it back, we will take care of it" Cant beat that! I sure like that thing:hello2:

We always remember the milestones.

I had to send mine back for a repair on the on/off switch. It gets used soooo often that the switch just broke. Mine broke in the "on" position though. I had to remove the battery to shut it up! :)

Garrett's customer service is absolutely tops! Takes time though. I bought another one so I have a back up. Hopefully, they won't both break at the same time. LOL

Nice start!

HH!

Love the charms. Good job. Hope you get your pointer taken care of quick so you can back in action.

Great job! Hearing about great customer service is the icing for me!

Thats funny Whadifind, as soon as I got home I ordered a new one, then granthansen said they have a warrenty. I ordered it with another coil and cover, and a spare lower shaft, and nut/washer kit,and it was back ordered so I guess I will have a back up too. We will see who is faster Kellyco, or Garrett repair

I, also, still have my Garrett Ground Hog, purchased back in the 70's and still works, as another back up. They do good work!

About which one is faster, if Kellyco comes back faster, it might be because they aren't as busy as Garrett. There could be very good reason for that, if you ask me. :)

HH!

Going back today, with more of a plan, instead or just wandering. It is almost a half acre, rural lot with nothing left but a very large tree, and the driveway, and those have both been the "hot" spots so far!!

You're going back without a pin pointer?? You are brave!! :laughing7:

LOL Stopping at Harbor Freight on the way. We will see, gotta be better than nothing...........I hope!!
