Well, my first year of detecting has come to an end, and here are my totals for 2005. I didn't really start seroiusly hunting until I got my ACE250 in March (used a BH Pioneer 101 before that), and didn't really figure out my ACE250 until mid June or so. That plus the fact that I usually can only hunt a few hours a week because of work led to lower totals than I was hoping for, but I think 2006 is going to be a much better year. Here they are:

Total Clad Coins: 1,059
Face Value: $66.65

Quarters: 126
Dimes: 246
Nickels: 92
Pennies: 595

11 Wheaties: oldest 1916-P

1 Indian Head Penny, dated 1882 (my oldest coin)

1 silver Rosie, dated 1964

2 Tokens: RI and NH transit tokens

1 $1.00 bill found in a sandlot playground

4 sterling silver rings

1 sterling silver necklace

2 gold rings (not found, but won in a metal detecting contest, so I count them, lol)

Several dozen antique bottles found in 2 old trash dumps in CT. Ages range from late 1800s to 1950s.

Several keys, bullets, fishing lures, 1 dogtag, and 1 machete. Yes, a machete!

My find of the year was the sterling Tiffany & Co ring found on a freshwater beach. I know, not earth shattering, but it was my first silver, so I love it! Pic of the ring is below, and thanks for looking!

Hey, TK. That's a great year. A lot more $$ than I found. Some of us do have to work for a living so a few hours a week is all we can get!

Here's to 2006!

Congrats TK on what looks like a good year to me. And I think the Tiffany ring is a find you should be proud of. Thanks for sharing. Good Luck in 2006 !

Congrats on your finds..
Alot more than what I found.. I didn't get out much
this year because of my new born son.
Hope to get out more in 2006.
Maybe we can still get some hunts planned together when it warms abit.

Great totals, WTG!!!
That is an odd ring, being marked like that on the outside, wouldn't ya say? I've never messed with jewelery much, but I haven't seen anything like it..
Good luck with the new year, & Happy hunting~

Very interesting ring.

Not a bad year considering the limit on your time.

I just got an ACE 250.

We should all have a great 2006 MDing. :D

Good work for the first year of detecting..........Seeker

Geat haul,
We all should be so lucky.
Hope that 2006 is as good to you, and the rest of us.
