I watched 2 commercial fishermen pull one in on their net on the
Stone's River in Nashville years ago. You could hear 'em yelling
and see them climbing around the boat...one of them yelling,
"Hit him with the the paddle, hit him with the paddle!".
One of them grabbed a paddle and started beating on that
fish for 2-3 minutes before they finally settled down.

BTW...if you don't know them Gar have a mouthful of
teeth!

I DONT CLEAN THEM BECOUSE THERE ARE SO HARD TO CLEAN.I'VE HEARD OF SPARKS FROM HATCHET HITS ON THERE BACK BEFORE.WHO KNOWS? I REALY DONT WANNA TRY A MYTH BUSTER ON THEM,LOL. SHARP TEETH A LITTLE SLIMY AND THE SCALES WILL SHRED YOUR HANDS.I THINK ITS WIERD WHEN THEY LOOK AND FOLLOW YOU WITH THEM BIG EYES.THANKS FOR THE REPLY
