Fisher 1280x battery posts

the battery posts in my 1280x have been reduced to small stubs (probably due to salt water over time) making it very difficult to solder battery wires to it. Any suggestions how I can build these posts up without opening up the waterproof case.

You might try replacing the terminals with small screws. Once they are resoldered, you can cover them with silicone glue.
