FISHER COINSTRIKE FEEDBACK?

Is anyone out there using the Fisher Coinstrike and how is it performing in the real world? I really don't listen to those biased field tests from factory people or magazines.

Sent mine back to Kellyco before I had a chance to get it outside. The electronics case (screen) was mounted dizzyingly crooked on the handle and wouldn't stay "ON" for more than a few seconds. Also the battery compartments were junk, held closed by plastic snap connections. I imagined them both taped shut within a few hours. Kellyco refunded my $$ no problem.

I was in a hurry to beat the cold weather and get a land detector this fall that wasn't too expensive...so I can get a beach model this spring. (Getting old and arthritis HAS set in)! My advice, especially if you've not new to detecting...DON'T! The unit doesn't weigh enough to have any electronics in it!?

I'm used to quality detectors that will last. Not this one. Way overpriced for whatever you get inside it!
