Hey I thought you would like to hear.... I got an email from Fisher and this is what they said. My text is blue and theirs is in red.
I asked... What exactly is wrong with the machine? Corroded HP’s – have no sound, bad coil since the coil cables are cut/worn out, broken panel therefore has water leakage
AND is it something that I can avoid? From the problems found the only thing for you do to is to avoid dropping, hitting, etc….so the unit will not have the broken panel and or worn out/torn coil cables.
I have never dropped this, never hit it with anything, etc. so I don't know what they are talking about. What are HP's? I have no idea. cables cut/worn out
? Beats me. I looked at the cables before I sent it in and they appeared ok to me but then I am no genius about these things. Broken panel? The panel was not broken so again I have no idea what they are talking about. All I know is that they have repaired it and it is on it's way back to me already. They originally told me that it would be 2-3 weeks before they would even get the parts in to fix it. It has only been a couple of days and it's on it's way back to me. I should probably wait till I can take it out to see how it works but I'm excited so all I can say is WTG FISHER!
