Thought I'd post this because I remember someone asking if the F5 had a smaller coil available .

I just got my F5 today and after turning all the knobs and trying it out in my test garden like a little kid ;D  I then wondered if my coils from my F2 would work on it and they do.

So now I have an 8" and a 4" to go with it.

*UPDATE*

After having gone detecting with the F5 and switching coils the F2 coils do hamper the F5 performance.

i read that they work but loose a little performance, because of the frequency differences that they are tuned for

I'll have to report back after I gain some experience with it.
