This 2" long Jasper piece was found in a dirt pile on our property. Described by some knowledgeable folks as being an overshot flake made into a scraper, maybe Paleo. Thanks for looking.

Nice find. That piece is a beautifully worked paleo knife. That is why the one blade edge is worked. Sit it in your hand with your pointer finger and thumb holding it. That ridge in the center of the blade is the locking point to stop from slipping. Very nice find!!!! This tool was also used in the tanning process for hides. A fleshing tool of sorts. Look around you might find other stuff.................................GTP
