Flash Antiseptic hand cleaner..to open? or not to open?now on ebay:)

dug up last week and am just getting around to it. only info i have found is a full size one on ebay, which was nothing. it would be great if someone had a date for this guy. well, its sealed shut, and there is something inside. its probally old flash antiseptic, but could be someones keepsake. it was dug near a barb wire fence, maybe someone droped it while hoping the fence? maybe someone stashed it anyways should i try to open it, or should i leave it be. i dont want to soak it for fear of loosing the remaining paint.

Yep...looks like 1900-1910 tin. I would not open it nor breathe ,smell and touch it. Unless something is clink and klonking in it.

no, its sealed shut jim. dont sound like metal, could be a chain gyspy, i dont care of the value, but its still cool to have found it. thanks for the link treasuretales. i guess ill open it up when i get home tonight, ill post whatevers inside

The last thing I found and opened up gave me 3 silver dimes, so I say open it up! Could be old crusty soap.....could be.....?

I could hear things rattling around, but I couldn't tell what it was, when I opened it there were six coins, and two rusted pieces of the bank itself. It's a bit different, mine is a little kids bank, and that gave me reason to believe that there was something inside worth opening it up to find.

This reminds me of another thread here where somebody found 2 metal shotgun shells pushed together to seal something inside. Never did find out how that one turned out.

haha, what a waste of time oh well, it was worth it. u never know, thanks everyone for hyping me up to check it. at least now im the proud owner of petrified hand cleaner, and the tin only got lightly scratched
