Detector(s) used
Minelab 505, 705
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
Brand new to the forum! I finally let the moths out of my wallet and bought a Minelab 705. I am finding stuff the old generic detector missed! I have a photo, not the best of an old flat button, found near a toasty 1804 Large Cent!

It reads as follows:

Top of Button: H H Elliot
Around Shank: Treble Guilt
Bottom Button: New York

Any help will be appreciated!

Thanks!

Your date range should be around 1820 to 1840. I have four sources for backmarks and I cannot find yours. To me that means he was a tailor, or some other provider, and a company made him the buttons with his company backmark.
