I hear you Jeff, when I found out 8 tracks were discontinued, I decided then and there that I'd never buy a cassette tape.yea I continued to buy 8 track tapes at yard sales and at columbia house
all the way through the cassette tape period. once cd's came out I switched to Cassettes
I owned probably somewhere around 1000 8 tracks, Never really Counted and {Memory Farts]
also Had a Few Classic Reel to Reel Reels. janis joplin, joe cocker mad dogs and englishmen etc.
I tried to amass as many Cassettes but never made it, gave up when my Cassettes starting getting ate
by the Players.
I owned 5 CD's I bought at a Yard sale . only one I Really liked was a NWA CD
XM Radeo destroyed the Entire Industry. now i just do fm in the car
