Float down the Chenango River

Last evening I decided I would take the kayak and go for a float down the Chenango River and just check out some freshly washed out banks possibly. I've done some creek and river hunting before but never had any luck. Last night however I found a simple net weight and a broke point. I will definitely be back to that spot with my sifter for sure ad both where found within 5 yards of each other. 20200808_215848.webp20200808_215437.webp

Glad you had some luck. Hard to say with the damage to the point but it may be a triangle.
 

I was thinking that myself but the closer I look the farther from that thought I get. The base or what I believe would be the base is not the same as other triangles I have found. I put it next to another that I have and am even more confused now.

Or else it's a Levanna (like your intact one) and broken too far up to show the basal area differences.
