Haft mark.

Same here I beleive. When I wet lightly and dry not soaked. I can see 3 strap marks. It dries at a different pace where handled, hafted, ground or chipped. A guy on youtube said to wet pebbles and i could see fingerprints. See first photo above.₩
I found limestone thats been buried does not sit well in hose water from Rainbow Springs. The fingerprints fell off.

Hafting across top of point seemed to be laid bunched in a knot.

On top binding is knotted and thick bindery tracks. Bottom thinner and crisscrossed flatly less tracks. If yall can lead me to my people I humblely request placement in proper arena. Is this considered Native American?

Sickel? Or knife?

Marks of being hafted. Also has a sweet spot for my little hand.I am interested in doing a video of watching it dry. It is amazing to me to feel and see previously unseen fingerprints.

All larger than 2" where immediately known tools!

This handaxe has a feel of a small hand and found on same day as all over 2". That is when I found your site and started looking for boulders with grooves and right angles.Thank yall for any direction as to were these are grouped.

Handaxe from Florida is 2.6 lbs.

Didnt know if that weight was important but I weigh every big fish! I am burying it tonight as it does not feel crumbly but dont want to take a chance.

Electron microscope anyone?

There is debris in pockets that does not match Florida soil. Electron microscope in Creative Commons is too advanced for me to homebuild. Wonder what is in there?

Welcome to the Tnet forum from Toronto Deb. :hello:
Very interesting finds, unfortunately I'm no expert when it comes to rocks.

For some expert opinions on your rock finds, you can post them here... Rocks/Gems

Best of luck to you,
