Hi. Found these two trade tokens a while back in Sarasota, Fla. I know nothing about trade tokens, value, age, etc. Can anyone guess the age of these? Are they worth anything? Are there any good websites on Florida trade tokens? Is the 12439 an address, or a date? Thanks in advance!

numbered tokens like that were sold or loaned to merchants. That was their account number and there is no way to determine where they were used. There is also no guarantee that it was the only place that used that number. theoretically they could have been used at seperate accounts in all fifty states. The other token is a good for merchant token from Sarasota. Someone with access to the florida catalog should have an opinion on what it is worth. siegfried schlagrule
