Folly Beach or Kiawah Island

I am getting plans setup for camping in SC on spring break and want to find out about MDing on the beaches.
I will either go to Folly Beach or Kiawah Island. Is one beach better than the other for MDing? What type of restrictions do they have for MDing on the beaches?
I guess Folly would have more since it is a state park right?
