Football Paperweight???

I found this paperweight in a junk lot I bought at an estate auction. Any value or info would be appreciated! I am not having much luck online so far. Here are some photos. Could be from the 1930s or 1940s, the manufacturer was known for making gazing globes and was incorporated in 1941.

It would probably sell between $20-$80 on the bay, worth an honest $50 IMO. Might sell for more due to it's sports theme to the right person.

He has made globes for the worlds fair in the 1930s etc, perhaps it might be connected to some big football event in that time period.
