???? for Cellar holes hunters

Just inquiring where you guys find most of the coins when cellar hole hunting. Is the front yard the best, or the sides or back? I know not all sites are productive, but just taking a poll. I know some of you folks are real successful and I appreciate your ideas and suggestions!!!!

Hey, Greg. I'm not as successful as some of the guys on Tnet....but I do hunt cellarholes almost exclusively. My best coins came from within 30 feet of the foundation. Most of the time the best ones were in the side yard.

The settlers in my town watched their money pretty closely. Coins are few and far between! Hope this helps.

It really varies from site to site, I have a group of cellar holes ive been hunting for the past 2 years and have cleared just about everything out except for one area. There is a small grove of apple trees that is situated about 100' away from the one cellar hole that keeps giving up coins!

Side yards, well areas and outhouses always seem to give up some goodies.

Thanks all, I really appreciate the ideas. I have a bunch of cellar holes I'm working and iVE yeto get any coins!?! I know they were hard to come by back when, but I'd like to find something. I'll post any further finds.
