I know EXACTLY how you feel!!

We did get above freezing today things are dripping but....we go into the real deep freeze tonight, stay there for 3 days till our next snow.... Sigh.
It will all be rock hard ice tonight.
I have no hope of digging ground anytime soon here.
All I can hope for is some awesome goodies from the massive ground heaves come spring.

We actually got warm today - 32°F, but after more snow last night. My mailbox is a little door in the side of a snow wall I can't see over.

Supposed to drop to -1°F tonight. I have to hold a gun on the dog to get him outside at night, anymore.

It was quite nice out today, clean up the white crap once again and by the morning it'll be -22c with the wind chills in the mid 30's once again.

Drove down to Florida Thursday, and it was cold there too. Felt like it was in the 30's with the wind chill. Sat. wasn't to bad, but when we left there this morning, it was tee shirt weather. Just my luck!

we're supposed to be in the 40's now! Instead of teens with -11 tonight, and 20mph breeze! Makes me cold just talking about it, brrrrr!

I layered up and went out in the whopping 10 degrees with 20 mph winds. I just had to get rid of the itch. Grabbed my gear and a bucket and figured I would go clear some trash from an abandoned village I have been working. Spent 3 hours digging trash and the only thing I accomplished was getting a sore butt from walking through 12" of snow and i buried a thorn in my lip.
