For the first time in over 157 years, the flag of the 54th Virginia waves again on top of the hills they camped on. The 54th camped on the ridges that I call home back in 1862, before they moved out when news that the 117th Ohio was coming. I decided to do a tribute flag to both units, though I haven't found a picture of the 117th Ohio flag yet. With a little bit of white paint, the flag looks like the original, minus the dot after the letter A. I might just leave it like that.
