Great photo's. I love places like that. Makes you wish you could go back and see it in operation.

Check out these pics. I found this spot overlooking Chili Gulch on Hwy 49. I'm glad I stopped the car and got out to look.

No. I was tempted.No air was moving through them. I did go in one about 25ft to check out the wood leaning against the wall.Here's a pick of the wood.

Cool pictures and yes they do suggest a time of long ago activity with a golden luster to it. The Chili Gulch area is an amazing place as it had Soooo much placer gold in it. That "room" is an amazing piece of work and someone did work on it. I suspect it had some special uses in times past. Thanks for both groups of pictures as it does take one 'back in time'..........................63bkpkr
