Foreign Coins, which are your favorites?

It doesnt have to be silver coins just wondering which are your favorites?

I personally like the ones from the phillipines when they were under US control. I have a couple coins from that area, 1 peso from 1904 and a 1944 s 1 centavo. I think both coins look cool as hell and the 1 centavo, for being nearly 80 years old is in great condition. These are not my photos of the coins, just showing what they look like.

My favorite type is British, but my favorite one is the Saudi Arabian on this list. I have many more than on that last, I just had no time to update that list.

Your 1904 peso could be worth $80+.

Double checked the year on that Peso, its a 1908. I must have mixed up the dates in the head with another coin. I should have checked my list before I posted.

You do have some nice coins Sag. The Russian ones are nice, the one from Portugal is pretty damned outstanding as well. I picked up a 1/2 Balboa from auction a couple weeks back for a buck if I recall correctly, neat looking coin as well.

The 1908-S was the most common (20M million) of the series (1903-1912); unless you have a proof of the 1908-'plain'; only 500 minted.

Picked up a 1932 Portugal 2 1/2 Escudo at auction this evening among some other coins. Full list will be in my other thread for the month of NO-vember as soon as I finish my bag of nickels, which will likely yield nothing.
