I'm realizing more and more that one thing I like the most is finding foreign coins. Besides Canada ;-). I've been fortunate enough to find coins from 15 countries now but was wondering, what denomination seems to yield the most? So far I think I'm tied country-wise between cents and nickels (thought guessing that could just be due to volume), so curious as to what everyone else has found? Thanks for any input! Happy hunting everyone!

Looooooove finding foreigns! Oldest was a 1920 Canadian cent on 2/21/08, oldest non-Canadian was a 1929 Panama 5 centesimos (out of a nickel slot machine!) on 2/26/04.

Panamanian cents were rather common in Vegas slots back in the day, as well as euro 2 centers.

From 2016 to the present I've found 30 nations via Coinstar:

Aruba, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, China Rep (Taiwan), Cuba, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Israel, Italy, Japan, Macao, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, South Korea, Spain, Trinidad & Tobago, Turks & Caicos Is., Uganda, United Arab Emirates

The all-time number is probably at least double that. Wish I had kept better records. I've got ten nations so far in 2018, so you're ahead of me, Rosco.

Keep at it!

Edit: Check out the actual TNet post when I found the 1920 Canadian:

Also a big fan of most foreign coins here, although I don't run across them terribly often.
Coming up on my one year anniversary soon for CRH'ing, so for my first 10 months or so I'm at: 2002 China, 1989 Bahamas, 1996 Panama, 1977 1/2 franc, and a 2005 2 cent euro (France I believe). All from penny rolls (in boxes), about 138,000 searched.
I've also got a 2002 mexican 2 pesos but unsure exactly where that came from.
