I have an old Master Hunter ADS3 with the original coils. Are these coils waterproof. Can I lower them into the water, keeping the electronic housing dry/

If you are not sure about this,then you have two choices:
one,you can have a try to put it into the water,the results are also have two:it can be used in the water or it can be out of work by the water,
two,if you need to detect in the water,you should buy a professional waterproof detector
