Don't know what I have here, if anything. Is it an error coin? It looks like the reverse has not been struck. Trying to show pics of the raised edge on the reverse side of the coin...What is it guys?

looks like the reverse was sanded away. I don't believe it is a mint error at all

I did weigh it at 2.98 grams... Compared to other similar dated coins, that I weighed, the weight is consistent...:);3841919]looks to be post-minting. What's the weight?[/QUOTE]

Its been sanded, thats why it has that small edge on the back.

There does appear to be abrasion clearly visible on the reverse - weight should be 3.11 grams - doesn't seem like it's missing enough
weight to have all the design elements abraded away ? Interesting !

It appears to be sanded but why would this cause the edge to be raised on the back side of the coin? The actual edge of the coin seems normal. From the obverse side over the rim to the reverse is smooth until it hits the raised edge.

Seen plenty of these in northern mich. snow plows drag them in to areas off parking lot and loaders haul snow to fields. But congrats at least u can get out I have 3feet of snow in yard and don't look like I will be getting out till end of may !!!!
