Found a brass relic near an old stone wall. No idea what it is!

Found an oddball brass relic while detecting along a stone wall in the woods today. I have no idea what it is or what is was used for. It's about 2 3/4" long and has a hole going through it. Any help would be appreciated.

valve stem and handle from a barrel tap.

valve knob from a tap. Could be from a barrel, keg or other.

It was pretty grungy, but it cleaned up okay.

You never know what you are going to get when you start digging ,but I think that is a cool item .And there is a good chance there are more items nearby .
