I found this today. From the best I can tell it appears to be either
T'UNG CHIH (1862-1874) or
KUANG HSU (1875-1909) with what appears to be
Boo-Guwang mint mark. Although I have found similar
coins from both periods on internet, none of them list
the Boo-Guwang mint, which this one appears to have
that mint mark. So, I really don't know. I hope it's
T'UNG CHIH, as they are considered very rare. ;D

If you are an expert on these coins, please fill me in on this!

i found one awhile back........a had a feeling it was not legit.....i don't think NC would be a likely place to find a real one......so I agree with a comment on the link about mine..

Mine was real thin too..

.....NaNa's looks real..........http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,113549.0/topicseen.html

Thanks Jorge, I am kinda unsure, if it is the KUANG HSU, which I am 99.9% sure it is, it's only worth like $6.00, hardly seems worth making a fake. But then again, you never know. The site I found it at has over 250 years of history and is still in use. Possible it could be real, but if it is T'UNG CHIH, then is would be 99.9% chance it's fake.
