Found a few things today

Got out today and checked out an old abandoned structure I had seen out in the woods. Turned out to be an old gas station/general store. Didn't do any detecting, and due to the overgrowth and tons of scrap metal around, it may not be worth it anyway. I was able to find a few neat items tho and plan to go back tomorrow and check it out further.

Here are the things I brought back today. I found three of the old measuring sticks for checking the fuel level in the storage tanks. The wood is pretty much rotten, but the hardware is all there and I think I can make new sticks and restore them. Also found an old New Goodrich sewing machine stand,(I will need to saw through a root to get the other half.) A neat wire basket stand, and a few other items. There were a few signs, but sadly all were beyond saving.

Nice assortment of finds Dharmacy. If you can get the other end of that sewing machine stand - I have seen a few of them with a nice oak board on top - makes a super table. Hey, you can put your favorite finds on it - coooool!
