I had some time before the rain started so I got out swingin. Unfortunately the rain didn’t hold off for long. But I kept going anyway. I managed 4 hours and found 33 coins with a face value of $2.81, a Matel car, a broken MAC pendant or key fob, a house key, a crown and a flat button.
The crown looks like it belongs to some little girls doll.
The flat button is really thin and I was surprised to see a a backmark. It is marked LONDON DOUBLE and has some vines around the outside. This is the third sign that this ground was occupied a long time ago. First the 1722 Hibernia half penny, then the flying eagle cent and now the flat button. I am almost done the field. Hopefully there is another goodie or 2 left for me to find.
Another good hunt even if it does end jewelry streak and I ended up soaked and muddy.
Thanks for looking and may your coil lead you to good things.
