My buddy and I went out to one of my more productive sites yesterday to do some point hunting. We didn't find anything during the first couple hours. I finally got a heavily reworked point or knife as well as a point fragment and a scraper. We were headed back to the truck, nearly there, when I found this bad boy.
It is a 1⅝" Pelican Lake made from Knife River Flint. I couldn't see the tip when it was laying on the ground so I thought for sure it would be broken......you guys probably know how that goes. Found in Mountrail County, ND. 20210101_182458.webp20210101_182520.webp20210101_133756.webp

......and no snow on the ground? and I’m trying to go south?

Gracious Lord what is wrong with me? Amen

I have several pieces with similar material to KRF. If you would post along with similar we all can see the differences

Amazing point.
Congrats.

That is a very nice find! :icon_thumleft: Like it!

Beautiful point. So many are broken, it's so nice to pull out a sharp one!!!
