I tell myself the exact same thing whenever a penny signal comes up on my detector! :laughing7:

Do I really want to dig another penny? :-\
But, I always do and sometimes I'm surprised . . . as you said, "It all adds up" and it's good exercise! :laughing9:

Best of luck to you crankyolman22,
Dave

Nice WA finds. Good job.

Nice finds :icon_thumright:, I dig every signal. I have had too many nice surprises not to dig them all. In addition it helps clear the area for the next detectorist.

Thank you for your replies.
I always try to dig everything, but usually wind up ignoring the iron signals because the parks around here is full of scrap iron. My detector seems to be very good at identifying zinc pennies, the old wheat's ring like dimes :icon_scratch: (the 44 was at 7 inches and indicated dime). Its dead on with quarters and where I found the stack was where they have a farmers market every weekend and when I saw they were stacked I was hoping for a whole roll :tongue3: but two bucks was it. I'm going to go back and hit that spot heavier this week. Last week I was limited on time.
