Got permission to hunt a field that once held a ball diamond in the 1960s-70s. Very trashy with only some wheats and clad. Started to explore the rest of the field and got the the silver GW:headbang: Very quiet field until I got into a iron patch and recovered some nice oldies including the tombacs. Was about to think this spot was another bust but gonna have to investigate it some more:)

That looks like a promising spot, you've already found some silver and good buttons. Nice job

Congrats on the silver GW and the other stuff looks promising

You are finding all the right stuff. I would continue to check that site out. :icon_thumright:

There could be some colonial items hiding in there, judging from your haul. Keep hitting it.

This was the first brief hunt where we would later find the cut Pistareen, spectacle buckle, 6 colonial coppers, 6 LC, Flying eagle, 2 cent piece, 2 IHPs, seated half dime, silver thimble. Dont think Ill find a site like that again anytime soon
