Show the reverse. 1942 had both cupronickel alloy and 35% silver alloy. Visually, the primary difference is placement and size of mint mark. On the standard cupronickel alloy, the mint mark is on the reverse, to the right of Monticello. On the 35% silver alloy, the mint mark is much larger and is above Monticello.

Yes, we have a winner. The reason I asked was not necessarily for you, but rather for those unfamiliar with what some of us call "war nickels", and the fact that 1942 was a transition year. Thank you.
