Found a spot in the river where a settlement must be eroding in from the bank

Found all of these in the river with a ton of pottery as well. Lots of red colored rocks from a fire circles. These are the first points I’ve ever found and know nothing about them so any help with ID is appreciated. Thanks!

It can be many things.
Graver for scoring wood or shell
Punch tool for leather
Preform which is something that didn’t work out
Also debitage which is what’s leftover from making a tool they used. Debitage comes in many shapes and sizes but sometimes we’re used as the above others I described.
It’s worked by ancient people so it’s still a artifact even if it’s debitage. I keep those types of artifacts in bowls, jars so I can look at them once in a while. As you find more artifacts you will start to recognize the tools. Keep everything even the broken ones. Now I will look up the age’s for you in a minute

The pottery can be dated by the designs. Most pottery in my area is Early Woodland to Mississippian period. Keep it also. It takes a while for someone to learn pottery. Each state is different for age. I’m in Georgia but maybe someone from your state can enlighten you on the pottery ages.

Classic NC lithic material -that Blue/grey Rhyolite. Same for the one made of Quartzite. I like to follow a good number of Surface Collectors on YouTube. One of them is Indian Trace. You're sure to see those materials and types in his videos all the time.

Great finds and not only would I NOT share any more information specific to the site location, I would scrub the name of the river and general location, people have been known to scour these sites for tips just like what you offered.

I learned never touch or remove anything from the native American people. As some of the pieces that you remove your removing there history and some objects may be under some type of spell be careful what you bring home as you may be inviting the unknown in your home. Talk to the elders of the area and see what they say. I've had trouble in the past bringing home a old tomahawk type tool needless to say I brought it back to its origin.
